Why would anyone think that riding a Harley Davidson is 'cool'? Why would anyone think that riding a Harley Davidson is 'cool'? It never ceases to amaze me how middle aged men rush out and buy a Harley to look young and cool again...when most people who are genuinely young and know whats cool, wouldnt been seen dead on an old mans machine like a Harley! They all dress the same and must practice for hours in front of the mirror to get that special 'Harley Stare'! Harley davidson make more money from merchandise than they do from their bikes, thats because these lemmings have to buy the harley wallet, jacket, boots, helmet, mug...and lets not forget those pathetic tassely panniers! They all think their 'riders at the gates of dawn'...when in reality most of them are actually 'members of the local guild of commerce'! Full time dentists-weekend rebels....its just so cringeingly embarassing to watch at times...can they not see what a joke they look! They really believe that those of us who dont have Harleys are just jealous because we obviously cant afford one...they really do believe this!! car insurance. (California)? Are fenders required on my trailer? (California)? Hi, I live in California (Mojave Desert). I just bought an old flatbed trailer to haul my dirt bikes around. It's just the frame, no fenders or deck. I've been scouring the internet and the farthest I've gotten is this very small section on the DMV's web site: http://dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/d12/vc27600.htm ( V C Section 27600 Fenders and Mudguards). Now from what I can tell, if the trailer weighs less than 1500lbs empty, I don't need fenders. The registration states that it weighs 300lbs. Even loaded with 2 dirt bikes, it will still be well under the 1,500lb mark. However, every new or newish trailer I've seen this small still has fenders on it. The reason it's such a big deal is that fenders would be fairly difficult for me to make. I'm not too good with metal, and don't want to deal with wood fenders. Here are the rough trailer specs: year - mid-70's (newer than 1971) weight - 300lbs dimensions - 9ft deck length, about 13-14ft tongue to rear. About as wide as a pickup truck, wheels extend past the deck. (sorry, forgot the exact measurements, it's dark out now) Thanks! car insurance. Auto parts : Battery Terminal Boot Jaguar 1997. Geo . How to Access Taillight Bulbs for a 2000 Subaru OutbackThe taillight assembly on your 2000 Subaru Outback contains the brake light bulbs, running or marker light bulbs, turn signal bulbs and the reverse light bulbs. Changing any of these bulbs requires you to remove the taillight assembly from the car to access the bulbs and the sockets that hold them, from the rear of the assembly. All the bulbs in the assembly are available from any auto parts store or the Subaru dealer. Difficulty:Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Socket set Ratchet Ratchet extension Step by Step : 1 Open the rear hatchback of your Outback. Locate the rear quarter trim panel inside the cargo area. Carefully pop the trim panel loose from the retainers and lay it aside. 2 Locate the rear of the taillight assembly inside the body behind the panel you removed. Remove the two mounting nuts that secure the assembly into the body of the car with a socket and ratchet. You may also need an extension on the ratchet to reach the nuts inside the panel. 3 Grasp the taillight assembly on either side with your hands from the outside of the car. Pull the assembly straight out of the body of the car. 4 Roll the taillight over so you can see the rear of the assembly. Select the bulb socket for the bulb you want to change and turn it counterclockwise. Pull the socket straight out of the assembly. You can now pull the bulb straight out of the socket.

*3. Slide the blade of the feeler gauge between the points and note how narrow or wide the opening is. Is the gap too small to let the blade in? If you left it like that, your car would be hard — or impossible — to start, and your points would get burnt and pitted. Is the gap so wide that the gauge doesn't touch both surfaces as it goes in and out? This results in a weak spark and poor engine performance at high speeds. So if your gap is either too wide or too small, it needs adjusting. There are three basic kinds of point-adjusting set-ups. Some cars have an adjusting screw (in addition to the screw or screws that hold the points in place). Other cars have an adjusting slot. Still others have a little window in the distributor cap that allows you to adjust the points without removing the distributor cap. Look at Figures 12-37,12-38, and 12-39 to determine which one your vehicle has and then follow the appropriate set of steps: If you have an adjusting screw, see Figure 12-37 and follow these steps: 1. Loosen the screw or screws that hold the points in place. 555
